Hello,

I know it can be confusing to know who and what, but PLEASE respect others' aircraft ownership and don't fly them unless obtain permission from the owner prior to takeoff.

Here are the current aircraft and owners: (If you would like to change yours, please PM an admin)

Joss and R. Lechot, you two need to select an aircraft from the remaining inventory (not those below) and let us know which ones you want. --> Now done, thanks

We are looking for members to join the Virtual Skies network, one of the VA's partners.

Pilots must be relatively confident in ATC phraseology, and be able to fly professionally.

It's a great network, i use it numerous times per week, and the staff on duty are always pleasant and happy to help.

To join, simply signup on their site @ http://www.virtual-skies.com , and download FSinn and FSCoPilot to get started.

I thought i'd make a topic stating the time when ATC is most likely to be on, and for any controllers who are planning to control, to make bookings, so we can fly with ATC.

ATC will mainly be London Control, which, depending on traffic levels, will cover the whole of the UK, and Gatwick Approach, however we are starting to see an increase in the number of stations manned.

The Board of Directors at Virtual Skies were recently talking about hosting a Real Ops event. For anyone who dosen't know what this is, basically, a real ops event is based at one Airport, generally one with a lot of traffic, i.e. Manchester. It will have the Airport fully staffed for around 9 hours, in which time real world schedules / flights are flown by pilots on the Virtual Skies Network. The Flights would be posted about 2 weeks before. They would have the same flight number ...

Link UK recently became an approved VA on Virtual Skies. Virtual Skies is far more laid back than VATSIM although will still keep rules and regulations in place. If you are not over confident with ATC or do not think you are a good pilot, a controller will aid you during your time on the server.

The UK division of Virtual Skies offers quality ATC & Pilot training programmes tailored to you. Check the UK website out at http://uk.virtual-skies.com

Step One.

View the previous post on how to get connected to the SimFly.EU server.

Step Two.

Once you have become a member of the airline on the AFTS system, it will take less that 24 hours for your request to join to get accepted. Then when you have been accepted, a couple of new pages to the left hand side on the AFTS system will appear.

Step Three.

The first step to track your first flight is to ensure that you have FSX running on the 'choose aircraft' window, and to make sure ...

Would it be possable to get some routes from EGAA (Aldergrove - Belfast) to Main Land UK ??

- I am working out from EGAA and i would like to have some Flight Plans from this Airport ..

The Airports in Main Land UK would be the Following:

- EGPK - Prestwick

- EGPF - Glasgow

- EGKK - London Gatwick

- EGLL - London Heathrow

There are more but these 4 would keep me busy for a while ..

- I would be planning on doing these flights in the Airbus A321 and the Bombardier CRJ700

I often start a long range flight and head to bed, landing when I wake up, or also starting one right before I leave for work in the morning and landing when I get home at night. Thing is, with the passenger #'s increasing with advertising, I will be able to fly farther and carry more if we buy a Airbus 340-600. (I know... Kach$ng!)

So why don't I just fly the 747-400? Well, mainly because it take about 45 mins from startup to levelling off at cruise level where I need ...

Well here are a few of my opinions on an easier way to manage and monitor routes.

First of all the admins/leaders of the airline should clean up our flight schedule on AFTS to UK based flights only or UK and European just to start off simple (and then expand at a later time). Also we could create a new forum for pilots to post flight logs on routes they have flown and when, and as the sad git that I am, with too much free time I could create a summary on what flight have been flown the most ...
